AR Adjustments: Advanced Settings (KB-AM023)
Users in vSite AR can make Adjustments during calibration. The system will automatically detect the distance between the camera and the surface. This works best on iPhone Pro/ iPad Pro devices due to their LiDAR capabilities. On Android devices, the camera is used to detect the surface. In some cases, the camera may fail to detect the ground level. Users can use the Advanced Settings option with the Adjust function to resolve this.
The side scale that appears will indicate the height of the camera from the detected surface. There are three options along the action bar:
Auto: The system will attempt to detect the ground level automatically. This is the default setting.
Fixed: The ground level will be set at a fixed distance. Because of this, when the user moves their device vertically, the models will follow. This method is most effective in certain situations, such as pole-mounted setups.
None: the system will not attempt to adjust the ground level.
