vGIS allows app users to report discrepancies found between their data and real-world data. In the Issue Reports subcategory of the vGIS Admin Portal (See Fig. 1 Box 1), you will be able to access the report database, view all active reports by their GPS location over a map, archive reports once they have been addressed, and export the collected data.
Reports can either be selected by selecting a report from the map view or by picking it from the reports list.
Report Field Data
All recorded field data, regarding a specific report, can be accessed by a company administrator from the Reports subcategory. An app user can provide three different types of data when submitting a report:
Image/ Video: An image or video of the discrepancy that includes holographic overlays.
Audio: An audio note detailing the discrepancy or action required.
Text: A text note detailing the discrepancy or action required.
Exporting Reports Data
Reports can be exported into a .csv file by clicking on the Export button (Fig. 2 Box 3).
Archiving/Deleting Reports and Restoring Reports
Once a report has been reviewed, it can be archived/deleted by selecting the checkbox to the left of the desired report. Once clicked, a Delete button will appear(Fig. 2 Box 4).
To restore a report, toggle the Show Archived (Fig. 1 Box 2) switch and press the Restore button that is next to the report.
Note: Archived/deleted reports will be permanently deleted after 30 days.
