vGIS allows app users to report discrepancies found between their data and real-world data. In the Issue Reports subcategory (1) of the vGIS Admin Portal, you will be able to access the report database, view all active reports by their GPS location over a map, archive reports once they have been addressed, and export the collected data.
Reports can either be selected by selecting a report from the map view or by picking it from the reports list.
Report Field Data
All recorded field data, regarding a specific report, can be accessed by a company administrator from the Reports subcategory. An app user can provide three different types of data when submitting a report:
Image/ Video: An image or video of the discrepancy that includes holographic overlays.
Audio: An audio note detailing the discrepancy or action required.
Text: A text note detailing the discrepancy or action required.
Exporting Reports Data
Reports can be exported into a .csv file by clicking on the Export button (3).
Archiving/Deleting Reports and Restoring Reports
Once a report has been reviewed, it can be archived/deleted by selecting the checkbox to the left of the desired report. Once clicked, a Delete button will appear(4).
To restore a report, toggle the Show Archived (2) switch and press the Restore button that is next to the report.
Note: Archived/deleted reports will be permanently deleted after 30 days.
