vGIS allows app users to report discrepancies found between their data and real-world data. In the “User Reports” subcategory of the vGIS Admin Portal, you will be able to access the reports database, view all active reports by their GPS location over a map, archive reports once they have been addressed, and export the collected data.
Reports can either be selected by their geographical location, or by picking them from the reports list.
Report Field Data
All recorded field data, regarding a specific report, can be accessed by a company administrator from the Reports subcategory. An app user can provide three different types of data when submitting a report:
Image/Video: An image or video of the discrepancy that includes holographic overlays.
Audio: An audio note detailing the discrepancy or action required.
Text: A text note detailing the discrepancy or action required.
Exporting Reports data
Reports can be exported into a .csv file by clicking on the "Export" button.
Archiving/Deleting Reports and Restoring Reports
Once a report has been reviewed, it can be archived/deleted by pressing the “Archive” button.
To restore a report, toggle the “Show Archive” switch and press the “Restore” button that is next to the report.
Note: Archived/deleted reports will be permanently deleted after 30 days.
