Viewing Object Details - Information Cards (KB-AM006)
Pointing the cross-hair at an object in the AR View brings up a call-out bubble, which reveals the high level information about the object, such as its type. To display additional details either tap the object (both in the first-person view and on the overhead map) or its call-out bubble. Additional details about the object will be displayed on the Information Card (Fig. 1).
Information Cards provide data to the user about a selected object. If enabled, the user can also perform data collection actions.
The Information Card displays an image of the object (if defined), identification information (the data that appears in the object bubble from the augmented reality screen), and all other defined attributes associated with the object. You may need to swipe the screen up or down to scroll through the attribute list.
To close an Object Info Card either press the “X” Button in the top right-hand corner or tap outside of the menu.

Info Card Menu
If data collection actions are enabled for a selected item, the info card menu button will appear in the bottom-left hand corner of the information card.
Note: if a menu button is not present on the info card, then either the company administrator has not enabled data collection actions, or you do not have permission to perform data collection actions.
Pressing the menu button will open up the menu options below the image and identification information.
There are up to two menu options available:
- Edit Data
- Delete
Edit Object Data
Selecting Edit Data will make all of the attribute fields on the object information card editable. Once satisfied with the changes, press the Done button to save the changes.
Movement of the object is limited to 10 meters from it the user.
Once the object has been moved to the correct position, press the Place button.
The object will now appear with a green pin placed over it. It is recommended that the user walk around the object to ensure that it has been placed in the correct position.
Once satisfied with final position of the object, press the Done button.
This action will generate a report in the system notifying your company administrator(s) of a change. Administrators will need to approve this change before it is saved to the system.
GNSS Placement Options
If the user device is connected to a high-precision GNSS, place the device over the object and press the GNSS button. This action will capture the precise location of the object with a high level of accuracy, and record GNSS metadata.
