vSite Web: Images
Overview
The Images feature in vSite Web allows users to view images captured in the field. Each image is accompanied by metadata, including the location and orientation of the camera at the time the image was taken. This enables better context and traceability for field data.
How to Access
To open the Images panel (Fig. 1):
Click the Images icon (1) on the left-hand panel of the vSite Web interface.
The panel will display a list of all available field images.

Search and Filter
Search Bar (2): Search for images by name.

Owner
Sort
Date Range
Type
Category
Zoom to Image
Select an image from the list.
Click Zoom To (4) to center the map on the image’s capture location.
Deselect All
Click the Deselect All button (5) to clear all selected images.
Note: This button only deselects currently selected images. It cannot be used to select all.
Location Pointer Toggle

Click the Location Pointer icon (6) to show or hide the camera location on the map.
Pointer On: Date and time will appear above the pointer.
Pointer Off: Date and time will appear above the image itself.
Viewing an Image
Click on an image to open a full-size, non-oriented version (Fig. 2). The detailed view will display:
The user who captured the image
Date and time
Latitude, longitude, and altitude
