vSite Admin Portal: Viewing Data Remotely
Overview
In addition to overlaying AR visuals that align with the physical world, the vSite AR app can also be used to review and validate project data remotely. This allows teams to visualize a job site from the office or any other off-site location.
How To
Step 1 – Set your Default Coordinates (Admins Only)
To enable remote viewing, administrators must assign default coordinates to a team/project:
Identify the coordinates of the site location to be validated.
Log in to the vSite Admin Portal.
Navigate to the Project section and either create a new team or open an existing one.
In your project dashboard click the Project Settings button on the top left.
Assign the chosen coordinates as the team’s Default Location (Fig. 1).
Step 2 – View Data Remotely in vSite AR
Launch the vSite AR app.

Tap the AR icon to enter AR View (Fig. 2). This will open the calibration screen.

From the calibration screen:
Select the blue satellite button to open the 2D map. You can use the 2D Map to navigate manually from your current location to the target site.
Or, tap the Position button and then select Bookmark to jump directly to the default coordinates assigned at the team/project level (Figs. 3–4).
Note: Users must fully exit and restart the app before new bookmarks become available.
Step 3 – Recalibrate (If Already in a Team/Project)
If a user already has a team/project open:
Tap the Main Menu (three-lined icon).
Select Recalibrate (Fig. 5).
Follow the steps described above to navigate using Position or Bookmarks.
