vSite Admin Portal: API Key Generator

Overview

The API Key Generator allows you to create a unique token that can be shared with selected users or services. This token provides secure access to company datasets and information, including vGIS Scan capability.

How To: Generate an API Key

  1. Navigate to the Company Tab in the vSite Admin Portal (Fig. 1).

  2. Scroll down to the API Key section of the company page.

  3. Click Generate to create a new, unique API key.

  4. Use the generated key to share secure access as required.

Supplementary Information

  • API keys can also be generated at the Team/Project level, offering flexibility in how access is managed.

  • Always keep keys secure and share them only with trusted users or services.

  • Keys can be regenerated if necessary to revoke access.
