Datasource Security Options - Visibility Settings (KB-AP040)
When importing or editing a Datasource, Company Administrators can select different levels of visibility to address project needs around data sharing and security.
Visibility levels explained:
| Setting | Managed By | Accessed By | When to Use |
| Anyone in my Organization | Company Administators Only | Any Team with Company Asset Access enabled | When an asset (e.g., base map or datasource) is shared among multiple teams and editing should be limited to only a few individuals with elevated admin permission (Company Administrators) |
| Shared with Other Teams | Company and Team Administators | Any team with Company Asset Access Enabled | Decentralized companies when an asset will be shared among multiple teams and editing is delegated to a single "owner" team |
| My Team Only | Company and Team Administrators | Data Access restricted to a specific team (must be identified) | Situations when a team works under an NDA and all assets should be kept confidential even from the members of the same organization. |
