Making Adjustments to Vertical Datum (KB-AP056)

When a datasource is synchronized into the vGIS Portal, the vertical datum used will be automatically detected. Notice the various locations of the vertical datum field (Fig. 1-2). 

To overwrite the default Vertical Datum, these steps must be followed:

  1. Navigate to and change the vertical datum using the dropdown field. (Fig 1-2)
  2. Select the checkbox at the ROOT Level of the datasource. Update your changes. (Fig. 3)
  3. Ensure all layers are still checked, then click Process Selected. (Note: If after step 3 all layers are unchecked, make sure to use the checkbox beside ROOT. (Fig. 4)

After the data has been processed, the vertical datum fields should now be changed with the datum of choice.
