vSite Scan: Uploading and Processing Scans
Scans captured in vSite Scan must be processed and uploaded before they can be viewed in vSite Web or vSite AR. The app offers multiple processing and upload options to suit different workflows and site conditions.
Processing Scans
Immediate Processing
Upon completion of a scan, the user will be prompted to process the scan (Fig. 1). Processing the scan immediately following its completion has multiple benefits:
- Verify that all required features and areas have been captured accurately.
- Facilitate on-site collaboration by sharing clean, accurate results instantly.
- Adjust scanning habits, settings, or mode before capturing the next scan.
- Make the scan available to other users both on-site and in-office right away.

Future Processing
If time or connectivity is limited, you can process scans later. This approach offers:
- No additional time required on-site.
- Reduced strain on device resources and battery.
- Flexibility to process and upload when a strong internet connection is available.
To process later:
- Open the Scans Menu.
- Tap the Process button next to the desired scan to process it.

Uploading Scans
Once processed, scans must be uploaded to vSite to be viewed in vSite Web or vSite AR. You can upload from either the Scan Preview or the Scans Menu.
Scan Preview
If the scan was processed immediately, the user will see a preview of the scan. From here, the user can select the Upload to vSite button at the bottom of the screen to upload the scan (Fig. 2).

Tip: The Scan Preview can also be accessed by selecting a scan from the Scans Menu.
Scans Menu
Upload directly from the Scans Menu by tapping the Upload button next to the scan.
Batch Processing and Uploading
To process or upload multiple scans at once:
- Open the Scans Menu.
- Tap the Select button in the top left corner.
- Select the scans that you wish to process or upload.
- Select Upload to vSite or Process in the bottom right corner.
