vSite AR: Information Cards
Viewing Object Information in AR View
When you point the crosshair at an object in the AR View, a callout bubble appears, displaying high-level information such as the object type.
To view more detailed information:
- Tap the object directly in either the first-person AR view or on the overhead map.
- Alternatively, tap the callout bubble itself.
This opens the Information Card (Fig. 1), which provides detailed data about the selected object.
Using the Information Card
The Information Card displays:
- An image of the object (if available)
- Identification information (as shown in the callout bubble)
- All defined attributes associated with the object
If data collection is enabled, the Information Card also allows users to perform related actions.
Note: You may need to scroll vertically to view the full list of attributes.
Closing the Information Card
To close the Information Card:
- Tap the "X" button in the top-right corner, or
- Tap anywhere outside the card.

Information Card Menu
If data collection is enabled for a selected object, a menu button will appear in the bottom-right corner of the Information Card.
Note: If the menu button is not visible, either:
- Data collection actions have not been enabled by your company administrator, or
- You do not have permission to perform these actions.
Tapping the menu button reveals additional options.
Available Menu Options
There are up to two menu actions available:
- Edit Data
- Delete
Edit Object Data
Selecting Edit Data will enable the data editing menu (Fig. 2), where multiple new options are present depending on the object selected.
The following options are available for data editing:
- Attribute Editing to change object attributes
- Image Capture to capture a photo that will be attached to the object
- Repositioning to reposition or realign the object
After making the desired changes, press the Done button to save.
If the object needs to be re-positioned:
- You may move it within a 10-meter radius of its current location.
- Once the object is in the correct position, tap Place.
- A green pin will appear over the object to confirm its new location.

We recommend walking around the object to visually verify accurate placement. Once satisfied, press Done to finalize the update.
Note: This action triggers a system-generated report notifying your company administrator(s) of the proposed change. The change must be approved by an administrator before it is saved to the system.
