vSite Admin Portal: Managing Projects
The vSite system allows administrators to set up multiple teams or projects to better manage field operations, user permissions, and the collection of data. A company can have an unlimited number of teams or projects. Company administrators can also assign team admins to manage the team settings and be more self-sufficient.
The Projects section allows administrators to add, view, edit, and remove the teams and projects of your company.
Adding New Projects
To add a new team or project, enter the Projects subcategory, and click the green Add Project button in the top left-hand corner (Fig. 1).
Project Dashboard Tab
From the Project Dashboard, you will be able to see a general overview of your project and edit project details (Fig. 2)
- Project Statistics Widget - hovering over this widget shows some general statistics about your project, including total project size, number of scans, and number of images.
- Monthly Placemarks Widget - Hovering over this widget shows your placemarks and data collection for the current month.
- Project Settings - This section is where you can edit the project settings. Project settings are taken by default from company settings, but they can be fully customized here. For more information on the specific settings, click this link.
- vSite Web - This button will launch the vSite Web page for your project
- Analytics - View project activity and statistics within a certain time range. By default, the time range is set to the past week, but it can be changed in the top right drop-down of the tool. Hovering over the graph will also provide more information
- Project Timeline - View recent activity by type at a glance. A more detailed version of this timeline can be accessed in the left sidebar.
- Users - Add and manage users who have access to the project
- Datasources - add and manage datasources within the project
Data Tab
The Data tab allows administrators to set parameters on how specific teams interact with specific layer groups and datasources (Fig. 3). The different types of interactions are:
- Datasources - By clicking the checkmark and X marks under the Enabled column, you can enable or disable certain datasources for your project. For more information on datasources, click this link.
- Layers - By clicking the checkbox beside the layers, you can enable or disable layers for the project. The Eye icon will determine which layers are on when your project is launched in vSite Web or vSite AR. For more information on layers, click this link.
Removing and Restoring Archived (Deleted) Teams or Projects

Note: That any deleted team or project can still be accessed from the archive, by toggling the Show Archive switch.
To restore a team or project, toggle the Show Archive switch at the top right of the projects tab, and select them from the archived list. Then, click the Restore button.
