vSite Web: Viewpoints
Overview
Viewpoints is a feature exclusive to vSite Web. It allows users to quickly navigate to specific areas within the map and share saved perspectives with team members. This is especially useful for users who need temporary or limited access to visual information within a defined location in the project environment.
How To
Use Viewpoints
Accessing the Viewpoints Menu
To open the Viewpoints menu:
Click the Viewpoints icon in the top-right corner of the vSite Web interface (Fig. 1).
-
A drop-down menu will appear showing two default options:
Default – Centers the view on the team’s Default Coordinates as defined in the Project Settings Page.
My Location – Uses your device’s location to place a marker at your approximate position.
If you're using a mobile device, your movement will be reflected in real-time within vSite Web.
