vSite Web: Interface Overview (KB-ST001)
The vSite Web Interface was made in a way to simplify workflows and maximize process efficiencies on and off the job site. As an alternative visualization tool from the vSite AR application, admins and users alike can access vSite Web on any web browser: vsite.meemim.com.
Using the screenshot above as a reference, you can read more about each vSite Web option:
- Team Selector - Opening this menu will bring a list of all assigned teams for the profile used.
- Settings - Select between preset language packs, view hotkeys, and log out of your current session.
- Help - Selecting this button will open the vGIS Support Center with further documentation and the ability to contact vGIS Support directly.
- Issues & Tasks - Document errors and assign tasks to others on the team with this feature and create easy-to-manage deliverables. Click Here to learn best practices.
- Sketches - Much like app users on the field, admins can use this feature to create sketches that can be viewed in AR as a way to communicate. Click Here to learn best practices.
- Images - When an app user submits a Field Report, their image will show in its exact orientation within vSite Web. Click Here to learn more.
- Scans - Similar to Images, submissions from the field will be placed in its exact location within vSite Web. Click Here to learn more.
- Sheets - exclusive to vSite Web, this feature will allow admins to place .pdf files in the digital twin platform and freely position it depending on project requirements. Click Here to learn more.
- Layers - Opening this menu brings all the same layer groups used in the Admin Portal and vGIS AR.
- Expand/ Collapse - Select between the full set of options (as seen above) or a compressed view (Images and Scans are grouped, Sheets are hidden).
- Cursors - When this is opened, a cursor menu will appear below with marker, line, and area options for Sketches. Reselect the traditional cursor to continue making selections throughout the platform.
- Viewpoints Selecting this feature will bring a menu of all saved viewpoints with the ability to save viewpoints on the fly. Click Here to learn best practices
- Full Screen Mode - Maximize the field of view from the preferred browser. This works well in situations where users are observing over mobile devices.
